Inverse Problems in Milan

Milan has three international airports: Milan Malpensa Airport Silvio Berlusconi (MXP), Milan Linate Airport (LIN), and Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY, also called Orio al Serio International Airport).

• From Malpensa, one can take the Malpensa Express (XP1) to Milano Cadorna, which takes roughly 45 minutes. From there one may continue with the subway M2 to the station San Ambrogio (or with the line M1 to San Babila) and then with the line M4 to Sforza Policlinico, which is just in front of the University of Milan, so that one arrives after approximatively one hour.
• From Linate, the university can be reached in half an hour by taking the subway M4 to the station Sforza Policlinico.
• From Bergamo, there are buses, offered by Terravision, Autostradale, and Flibco, for example, to the main station in Milan (Milano Centrale), which take roughly one hour.

To reach the university from the main train station (Milano Centrale), one may take the subway M3 to the station Missori and walk about 500 metres to the university. It should not take more than half an hour in total.
