Congratulations to our team member, Thi Lan Nhi Vu, on successfully defending her PhD thesis, “Practical Inverse Problems with Surrogate Operators”, on 13 October 2026!

Her doctoral research was carried out as part of the Christian Doppler Laboratory for Mathematical Modelling and Simulation of Next Generation Medical Ultrasound Devices, with the guidance, support, and patience of Prof. Otmar Scherzer!

After lots of blood, sweat, and tears, the hard work has finally paid off — and it's time to celebrate! We’re delighted to share this special milestone with Nhi and wish her all the best for the exciting adventures that lie ahead!

Congratulations, Nhi — you did it!! 🎓🥂
